Carbon F.C. is a community-driven soccer club based in the 6th district of Upper Darby Township, dedicated to providing youth with a supportive and inclusive environment where they can thrive both on and off the field. Founded by Damion Martin who has been involved with youth development for decades. Carbon F.C. was established 2 years ago and has evolved from humble volunteer efforts into a robust organization that meets the diverse needs of local youth. Our mission is to cultivate not only soccer skills but also character development, teaching life lessons such as discipline, teamwork, camaraderie  and sportsmanship. We have built a strong foundation within the community, and our programs have garnered the unwavering support of local businesses, community leaders, and families.

Past & Present Programs/ Services
Carbon F.C. has offered a wide array of programs over the years designed to support player development, community engagement, and holistic youth growth. These include:

• Recreational and Competitive Soccer Teams: We have developed teams for various age groups and skill levels, creating opportunities for children to play in a team environment while improving their athletic abilities.

• Training Camps: Our training camps are designed to give players the tools and resources to excel on the field, with professional coaching focused on skill-building and tactical understanding.

• Leagues and Tournaments: Carbon F.C. regularly organizes and participates in soccer leagues and tournaments that allow players to showcase their abilities and challenge themselves in a competitive setting.

• Coaching Clinics: These clinics equip coaches with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster player development, promoting a culture of coaching excellence within the community.

• Players clinics: This clinic is  free for the community in order to support families who generally cannot afford to let their child join an official team. We focus on giving the players all the basic knowledge of the sport, fun activities within the scope of the game and a full introduction of Carbon FC. We also provide the parents with the option to join the team on a discounted price or ways to seek sponsorship to get their child to participate. 

• Anger Management and Violence Prevention Programs: In addition to soccer, we offer important life skills programs that promote positive behavior, self-regulation, and conflict resolution, creating a safe and supportive space for all participants.

• Community Building Initiatives: Through group activities, team-building exercises, and community outreach, we have created an environment that fosters mutual respect and lifelong friendships among our participants.
